    • I was put in contact with Fiona in the summer of 2018, she was recommended to me by a colleague. At that time I had been diagnosed with a bulging disc in my lower back, and was advised by my consultant that my only option was surgery. Not wanting to go that route I reluctantly went to see Fiona as probably my last hope of not having surgery.
Fiona turned out to be my life saver. She took great time to review my lifestyle and what was having an impact on my back, she taught me lots of simple things about posture and breathing before ever working on my back. After a few visits I started to feel better and was saved from surgery which was a huge bonus for me. I continued to see Fiona every few months just to ensure all was well with my disc.
I would have to say Fiona was the best medical find for me, she takes great time with her patients and makes you feel very comfortable about talking about yourself and working with you to resolve your problems. I am 52 years old and have seen many physios in my time but none of Fiona’s standard. I hope anyone reading this will be as lucky as me with finding Fiona should you need a warm understanding physio who is one of the best in her field in my opinion.

    • Fiona gave a lunchtime talk to our employees in April 2018 on how to maintain health and well-being working in an office based environment.  This covered the importance of sitting and standing correctly, posture and body alignment, looking after muscles and bones, and how to prevent common problems that physiotherapists treat. Fiona’s presentation was extremely well received in O’Leary Insurances – her material and delivery was excellent supported by her extensive physiotherapy knowledge and experience. In particular Fiona very clearly but positively engaged everyone on the importance of moving our bodies!  I would recommend Fiona’s expertise to any organisation looking to support their employee’s health and well-being.

    • I'm a fan of craniosacral treatment. As I have a long term back condition I have tried all kinds of treatments and I must say cranio is my favourite. It's a safe light touch treatment. The release of tension from the body is amazing. I don't think I will ever forget the first treatment I received from Fiona. My description will not justify the feeling I felt afterwards. I felt as if I had an altered state of consciousness. I could feel the pain seep out of my body. I slept for 12 hours after it and I could feel the continuous rewards of the treatment for days after the session. As well as a physical release of pain I also felt an emotional release, I personally feel that it's a treatment for the mind and the body, this for me enhanced my experience as I'm a firm believer that the mind is connected to the healing of the body. I would recommend a visit to Fiona to anyone with any type of back tension/pain.

    • I found craniosacral therapy a wonderful treatment both relaxing and gentle while also working very deep with the body, it has really helped me be more mindful of my posture in a general sense but also in my everyday activities"

    • I attend Fiona myself for horse riding injuries, and I find her very capable and professional. As she has a good understanding of posture, including for horse riders, I send some riders to her which I can see are sitting unbalanced or twisted in the saddle, or who are in pain. They all improved and feel better. Fiona also treats horses and she can see if there is a connection between how the rider’s body is on the horse and how it can show and influence the horse’s movements, imbalance or even lameness. I highly recommend Fiona.

    • Fiona treated my horse with craniosacral therapy. She was very professional at all times the horse was the priority. My horse loved the treatment, was very relaxed throughout, and was like a new horse within a week! Highly recommend Fiona to anyone.
